Braised Pork Roast with Mulling Spices
Ingredients
1 1⁄4 lbs (575 g) pork loin roast
Black Pepper, to taste
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1⁄2 cup Mulled Apple Juice, prepared
4 bags Mulling Spices
4 cups apple juice
4 cinnamon sticks, optional
1⁄4 cup Nourish Broth, prepared
1 1⁄2 tsp Nourish Broth Mix
1 cup boiling water
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Heat oil in Sauté Pan over medium-high heat. Season pork with Black Pepper. Sear pork 2 min per side, or until lightly browned. Remove from heat, carefully add juice and broth into pan.
Place pan in oven; bake 15–20 min, or until the internal temperature has reached at least 145° F.
Slice pork into thin medallions and serve with a generous drizzle of cooking liquid.
