Braised Pork Roast with Mulling Spices

Ingredients

  • 1 14 lbs (575 g) pork loin roast
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 12 cup Mulled Apple Juice, prepared
  • 4 bags Mulling Spices
  • 4 cups apple juice
  • 4 cinnamon sticks, optional
  • 14 cup Nourish Broth, prepared
  • 1 12 tsp Nourish Broth Mix
  • 1 cup boiling water

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Heat oil in Sauté Pan over medium-high heat. Season pork with Black Pepper. Sear pork 2 min per side, or until lightly browned. Remove from heat, carefully add juice and broth into pan.
  3. Place pan in oven; bake 15–20 min, or until the internal temperature has reached at least 145° F.
  4. Slice pork into thin medallions and serve with a generous drizzle of cooking liquid.
