  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Black Pepper, to taste
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup Tex-Mex Grilling Sauce
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 14 cup vinegar
  • 13 cup brown sugar
  • 14 cup molasses
  • 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Fajita Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Dijon-style mustard

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 300° F (150° C). Season ribs with Sea Salt and Pepper and lightly dust with flour.
  2. Preheat a large frying pan to medium. Add oil and lightly brown ribs on both sides.
  3. Remove ribs from pan and pour in stock. Rapidly stir and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature, add Tex-Mex Grilling Sauce and stir well.
  4. Return ribs to pan and turn to fully coat in sauce. Tightly cover and transfer to oven. Braise 2 - 3 hours, turning ribs at least twice during cooking.
  5. Remove lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking to create a thick rich sauce.
