A creamy and dreamy dip that puts a vegan spin on a pub classic. Completely nut free, too! It’s low in fat and carbs, so you can enjoy your favourite dippers guilt free. Our secret ingredient? Nutritional yeast. It gives the dip that cheesy, umami flavour you’re craving.
Ingredients
1 bottle (12 oz/355 ml) beer, such as brown ale or pale ale
1⁄4 cup unsweetened oat milk
1 tbsp 3 Onion Dip Mix or Herb & Garlic Dip Mix
1 tsp Dijon or grainy mustard
1 pkg Modern Mac Seasoning
Preparation
Bring beer to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Whisk in oat milk, dip mix, and mustard.
Reduce heat to medium; slowly whisk in seasoning. Simmer, whisking often, 12–15 min, or until thickened.
Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Dip will continue to thicken as it cools. Serve with tortilla chips, pita wedges, or chopped veggies for dunking.

Tips
Different types of ale will bring a different taste to this dip. Try pale ale for a lighter, smoother flavour, or brown ale for a more robust and malty flavour!
