Beefed Up Shish Kebabs
A great choice for potlucks! Choose top sirloin—it cooks quickly at hot temperatures while staying juicy and flavourful, and it doesn’t break the bank.
Ingredients
1 1⁄2 lbs (675 g) top sirloin steak
2 tbsp olive oil, divided
2 tbsp Shish Kebab Seasoning or Montreal Steak Rub
1 large bell pepper
1⁄2 red onion
3 cups small button mushrooms, about 8 oz
Sea Salt (Grinder), to taste
Black Pepper (Grinder), to taste
Preparation
Preheat grill to medium-high. Lightly brush with oil.
Chop steak, peppers, and onion into 1" pieces. Place steak pieces in a large bowl and toss with seasoning and 1 tbsp oil. Add chopped veggies and mushrooms to bowl and drizzle with remaining oil. Season with salt and pepper, if desired.
Thread onto Grill Boss Skewers. Grill skewers with lid closed, 2–4 min per side, until lightly charred and steak is cooked to your liking.
If you have time, let kebabs rest 5 min before serving. Serve with sauce, if desired.
