1 lb (450 g) center-cut fast fry pork loin chops, about 4 small chops
1 large apple
1⁄2 cup prepared Vegetable Broth or Nourish Broth
1 1⁄2 tsp Vegetable Broth Mix
1 cup boiling water
1 1⁄2 tsp Nourish Broth Mix
1 cup boiling water
1⁄4 cup apple juice
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tsp Balsamic Vinaigrette Dressing Mix
1 tbsp butter
Preparation
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add pork chops; fry until browned, about 2–3 min per side. Remove from pan and keep warm.
Meanwhile, core and thinly slice apple.
Add sliced apple, broth, juice, vinegar, and dressing mix to pan, stirring to loosen brown bits. Simmer, 2 min, until apples have softened slightly.
Return pork to pan. Cover and simmer until meat is cooked through, about 3–4 min, turning once. Place pork on plates. Add butter to sauce; stir until melted. Spoon on top of pork.
