You’ve got to try our Quick and Easy 4-minute salmon fillet nestled on a bed of asparagus recipe! Our steamer method is super easy and amazingly tasty as it allows the flavours of the salmon and the Pesto blend to infuse and develop wonderfully. Add a dollop of cream cheese before cooking to take it to another level!

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tsp Asian Stir-Fry Seasoning or Lemon Dilly Dip Mix or prepared Pesto Sauce, divided
  • 2 tbsp Pesto Sauce Mix
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts or pistachio nuts, optional
  • 1 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 14 cup olive oil
  • 2 (4 oz/110 g) salmon fillets, skin removed

Preparation

  1. Place asparagus in Rectangular Steamer; sprinkle with 1 tsp seasoning. Lay salmon over top; sprinkle with remaining seasoning.
  2. Cover; microwave on high for 4–5 min.
